I spent the second week of August exploring Big Bend National Park in west Texas. Although it was hot, we had a great time and saw some incredible scenery. One of my favourite parts of the trip was photographing the Milky Way. The park is extremely dark, and the night skies are very impressive. Another highlight was the variety of wildlife that we saw. There was an incredible variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Thanks to Greg Lavity for his expert guiding experience.
