Contrary to what a lot of people think, Vancouver does not get a lot of snow in the winter. And, it is very rare that there is a white Christmas in Vancouver! In fact, in the last 20 years, we have only had three! This year was a welcome exception.
For the holidays we flew home to Vancouver to spend Christmas with family. A day after we arrived, it started to snow. I was thrilled. I love snow and have missed it living in the south. To add to my excitement, I also found a new Fujifilm X-T2 under the Christmas tree! What great scenery to shoot with my new toy!
I took these images in Port Moody at Rocky Point Park, out in Maple Ridge and at Pitt Lake in Port Coquitlam.
