In January I had some fun doing some long exposure rear curtain sync flash photography using sparklers. Although I appear in the first photo, both pictures were shot using a tripod and timed exposure, allowing me to appear in the image.
Since the weather has not been very cooperative these past few weeks, I decided to embark on a four week flower study. Here are some images from this study.

Most of these shots of birds were taken in my backyard in Gautier Mississippi. A few others were taken on a walk through the neighbourhood. The last three images, of the osprey were taken just a few miles away on the Pascagoula River.
Some photos I took during a three day visit to New Orleans with my sister mid-November. This was my first, of hopefully many trips to this wonderful city. I am looking forward to exploring some more at Christmas with Paul and my daughters. Hope you enjoy!
