Last summer I spent five days at Image Explorations, a school recognized by the Professional Photographers of America for professional photography development. It was a refreshing approach to personal growth and professional development. It was held at Shawnigan Lake School, where there were no distractions, nowhere else to go, a wonderful way to focus on just photography and new friends.

I spent the week with Tony Sweet, who is best known for his fine art nature and floral images. We spent some very long days, catching both first and last light, and finding time in between to process our days work. It was both an exhausting but extremely rewarding week.
