Rocky Point Park is a 3.8 hectare park located along the east end of Burrard Inlet in Port Moody, British Columbia. Shoreline Trail follows the inlet between the Rocky Point pier and Old Orchard Park on the north shore. The trail meanders through forest paths and boardwalks along the tidal flats. Along the trail are all kinds of opportunities for spotting wildlife, including bears, coyotes, a large variety of birds and waterfowl (including bald eagles) and spawning salmon in the fall.
Best of all, Rocky Point is five minutes away from my old home. And better yet, just across the street from my daughters’ apartment where I stay when I visit. During my Thanksgiving trip this October I visited the park four times. It is a wonderful place to walk, and of course, take photographs!
