After purchasing my new Nikon D7000 and 70-200 mm f/2.8, I took a trip down to Colony Farm. Colony Farm is a regional park located in Coquitlam BC. Here I managed to befriend a great blue heron.
These are all images with long exposures (over ten minutes). I used these long exposures to give a ghostly feel to the birds and surreal feel to the water. They are taken at Crescent Beach, British Columbia and Point Roberts, Washington.
